ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg woman is planning legal action after she claimed a woman smashed a glass on her face during a concert at a Jamaica resort on Christmas Eve, Bay News 9 reported.
Mauwea Rawshdeh and Isliany Rawshdeh celebrated their December anniversary by staying at the Sandals Southcoast Resort where they attended a Dec. 24 concert. A couple demanded that the DJs continue to play music as Isliany talked to one of the performers at the end of the concert. The woman then yelled at Isliany, and smashed a glass against her face, she told the TV station.
The victim suffered cuts to her face and her arm that required a hospital stay. Islany is unable to work as a mural artist after returning home to St. Pete because of her arm injuries.
