Suspect Sought in Vinoy Park Knifepoint Robbery
Police say 43-year-old Gregory Johns also is wanted in connection to the armed robbery of an elderly woman and the sexual battery of a child.

ORIGINAL POST: St. Pete Police are seeking the public's help in finding a named suspect who's wanted in connection to the armed robbery of an elderly woman Aug. 28 and the knifepoint robbery of a couple in Vinoy Park on Aug. 29.
Gregory John, 43, of Safety Harbor also has a warrant out for his arrest involving the sexual battery of a chid under the age of 12.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Crimes Against Children unit and St. Petersburg Police detectives are seeking the public's help in locating Johns.
Johns has a criminal history of violent felonies and weapons charges dating
back to 1987. He should be considered armed.
He is known to drive a four-door 2006 black Ford Fusion.
The Florida license tag number is 938IZN.
