Suspects Sought In 49th Street S. Shooting: St. Pete Police
Detectives are looking for several men involved in an Oct. 19 shooting in a public parking lot on 49th Street S., St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Detectives are asking the public for help identifying several men wanted for a midday shooting in the 1400 block of 49th Street S., St. Petersburg police said.
After an argument broke out between two men in a public parking lot just after 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, one of them fired a handgun several times at a white Chevy Suburban, police said. Passengers in the Suburban returned fire.
While two vehicles were struck by stray bullets, no injuries were reported in the shooting. All suspects left the scene before officers arrived.

The first shooter, who wore dark clothing, drove away in a dark Genesis sedan. He is described as a heavy set Black man with close cut hair and a beard, and he was wearing an LSW sweat jacket with a stripe and multiple gold chains around his neck, police said.
The driver of the white Suburban was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a white t-shirt and dark pants. One passenger in the Suburban was wearing a camo-style ski cap and a jogging suit with stripes. The second passenger was wearing a hooded jogging suit.
