Tornado Warning Issued for St. Pete

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for St. Petersburg and Pinellas County until 9:15 p.m.

Heavy rains and dozens of lighting strikes began around 8:30 Tuesday. 

Power and lights went out in various locations in St. Pete including the Tropicana Field parking lot and streetlights along First Avenue South.
