ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Tropicana Field testing site will be closing early on Wednesday, a news release said.

Due to the overcrowding of cars waiting in line, the testing site will close to new cars at 12:15 p.m. Residents can be tested at a number of other sites throughout the county. A list of many of those testing sites is available at:https://covid19.pinellascounty.org/testing/

Residents are also reminded that a negative test result only shows your statuson the day you were tested. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please follow all quarantine guidance. Rapid testing is available at Tropicana Field, however, residents are urged to know what type of test they need before heading to the site. Many employers, airlines, travel businesses, etc., require the regularly offered PCR test.
