Truck Crashes Into House, Driver Has Severe Injuries: Police
A house in St. Petersburg had minor damage after a man drove his truck into it Sunday morning, St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A pickup truck crashed into a house Sunday morning in a St. Petersburg neighborhood.
The driver was headed southbound on 49th Street just after 9 a.m. when his truck went off the road near Fifth Avenue North, St. Petersburg police said. He hit a sign and continued driving through a vacant lot and then hit a house.
Authorities said he was the only one in the truck. He experienced life-threatening injuries, according to detectives. The house had minor damage.
