Vehicle Pulled From St. Pete Pond: Fire Officials

A submerged vehicle was pulled from Maggiore Pond, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A submerged vehicle was pulled from Maggiore Pond this week, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.

There were no victims in the vehicle or the pond.

The agency’s dive team was able to pull the vehicle out “after hours of meticulous work and coordination,” SFR wrote.
