Wawa to Open Near Tyrone Square Mall Wednesday
Wawa will open and host a ribbon cutting at its newest location at 9501 Bay Pines Blvd.

Wawa, the popular gas station and convenience store chain, continues to expand its presence in Florida.
Wednesday Wawa will open and host a ribbon cutting at its newest location at 9501 Bay Pines Blvd., which is just west from Tyrone Square Mall
The store will open at 8 am. Wednesday with the ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 10 a.m.
According to a news release, Wawa will present a check to the Tampa Bay USO for $5,400 Wednesday at the ribbon cutting.
The money was collected from a recent in-store fundraising campaign, which ended July 7.
According to Wawa, the funds will benefit USO programs, which directly serve the men and women in the armed forces and their families.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Florida with the opening of our 22nd Florida location and cannot think of a better way to celebrate than by recognizing the USO and thanking our customers for their generous contributions to our in-store campaign.” said Cathy Pulos, Chief People Officer at Wawa, in a news release.
