We're Patch — But What is Patch?

If you and signed up for our newsletter, you might be wondering what Old Northeast-Downtown St. Pete Patch is all about.

Well, when we’re not out reporting original articles about tropical storms, covering or doing a marketing event at St Pete Pride, we’re working to bring you the stories that matter most to the community.

Most we write ourselves, but the few we can't get to we aggregate from local media.

There are 19 Patch sites in the Bay area, and all have experienced journalists at the helm. Our team of local and regional editors is committed to reporting on what’s important to our readers, from crime and politics to highlighting the accomplishments of local students, business owners and volunteers.

Want to know when that road construction in your neighborhood will be complete? Want to find out more about a new restaurant in the area? Send your local editor an email. We welcome story ideas from our readers, and hope that you will turn to us first when you want answers.
