What's Open, Closed In St. Pete On Thanksgiving 2020?
Here's what services in St. Petersburg are open and closed on Thanksgiving and Friday.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Many families will be celebrating Thanksgiving differently this year by being with their loved ones virtually as they prevent coronavirus exposure. But what hasn't changed this year is city closures on Thanksgiving.
While Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, some services may continue its closures on Friday. Here are the openings and closings to know for Thursday, Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, Nov. 27 (Black Friday).
City Services: City Hall and Municipal City Services Center are closed on Thursday and Friday.

Libraries: Closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
PSTA: PSTA buses operate on a Sunday schedule Thanksgiving Day. Routes that do not run on Sundays will not be in service. Buses return to their regular schedules on Black Friday. For more information about PSTA schedules, visit here.

Community: Sunshine Center is open Thanksgiving, but closed on Black Friday. Boyd Hill Nature Preserve closed Thursday; open Friday. Recreation centers are closed Thursday and Friday.
Garbage and Recycling: Collection regularly scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 26 will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Post Office: Closed on Thursday, but open on Friday.
