Archie, Larsen Unopposed, Win New Commission Terms

Four candidates will vie for the opening City Commission Seat 4 seat in March, while Mayor David O. Archie and City Commissioner Jeff Larsen have automatically won re-election after no one filed to run against them.

Tarpon Springs Mayor David O. Archie and City Commissioner Jeff Larsen will be back for second terms after no one filed to run against them in March's election, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Archie and Larsen have automatically won re-election and will serve an additional three years on the commission.

Four candidates will vie for City Commission Seat 4 to replace Vice Mayor Chris Alahouzos, who is nearing the end of his two terms, the Times reports: David Banther, Jim Bouldin, Thomas Frain and Timothy Keffalas.

The deadline for candidates to file was Nov. 28.

The city election will be held March 12.
