Be Aware of Overnight Construction

Motorists and residents should be aware of some construction work scheduled for Tuesday night at the intersection of Bayshore Drive and Riverside Drive, the City of Tarpon Springs said in a news release.

Crews will be connecting a newly installed sewer force main in the area of 463 Riverside Dr., and the work will involve the use of some bright lighting and several "vac" trucks, city spokesperson Judy Staley said.

Residents in the area are being notified of the work by door hangers. 

The work needs to be completed at night, when volume in the sewer line is lowest, Staley said.
