Beats on the Bayou to Benefit Kathleen Monahan Foundation

Monies raised will be used to preserve the arts in Tarpon Springs.

Beats on the Bayou will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Heritage Museum (100 Beekman Lane) on Spring Bayou.

The event includes a buffet that offers pasta, hors 'doeuvres and carving stations along with a dessert bar as well. Beer and wine will also be included, TBN reports. 

A concert by pianist Greg Maroney (not pictured) will be a part of the evening as well.

Tickets are $50 and the proceeds will benefit the Kathleen Monohan Foundation, which supports the Cultural Treasures Program in Tarpon Springs. The program boosts support for culture and arts in the city. 

According to TBN, "the income of the Foundation is to be specifically used to support and sustain the activities, program, performances, projects, and equipment in helping people of all races and backgrounds experience the joy and passion that the arts can bring to their lives."
