Eco-Bean a Perfect Fall Indulgence

The organic coffee house is featured in this week's A Taste of Tarpon.

What would a tight knit community be without a local coffee spot? Tarpon Springs has discovered its own gem in Eco-Bean.

Fall weather has been generous in Tarpon and Eco-Bean is an ideal spot to enjoy a hot cup 'o joe (or iced, if you prefer).

I decided to go with a Cafe Mocha and a Hippy Hemp Cookie. The coffee drink is a smooth blend of dark chocolate, espresso, steamed milk and whipped cream ($4.55, tax included). For the cookie, chocolate organic hemp and flax are combined for a gluten free experience ($3.75, tax included).

What made the snack even better? I didn't feel guilty afterwards, knowing that the ingredients were the best in the biz.

The coffee shop is much more than a joint that offers a jolt of natural caffeine. Aside from the organic juice bar and a menu of delectable drinks and baked goods, Eco-Bean is a place where neighbors can connect and new friendships are formed.
