Stop by the Bob Evans Holiday location on Friday, between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. and "dine to make a difference." The Tarpon-based program, Cops 'n Kids will receive 15% of sales from the store.
On Friday night, enjoy a wine tasting party at Wine at the Docks (828 Dodecanese Boulevard) from 6-8 p.m. The cost is just $10 and includes a variety of murielle wines (chardonnay, strawberry & gewurztraminer infusion, green apple riesling, cabernet, a cranberry & malbec infusion, zinfadel & pomegranite infusion, chocolate raspberry port) and appetizers.Â
The main event this weekend is Saturday's Night in the Islands celebration, which takes place on the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks (Dodecanese Boulevard and North Pinellas Avenue). Enjoy authentic Greek food and live music from Ellada. Dancing is inevitable and the whole family can enjoy this event. Patrons also have the option to dine under the stars with tables set up along the scenic sponge docks. The event is free except for parking on the sponge docks, which varies in price.Â
