Police: Tarpon Springs Man Poured Gas on Child's Head
Kirk Wayne Ludlow Jr. faces child abuse charges after the child reportedly caught him trying to siphon gasoline from a car, Bay News 9 reports.

A Tarpon Springs man is accused of pouring stolen gasoline on a child's head, Bay News 9 reports.
Kirk Wayne Ludlow Jr., 42, was reportedly trying to siphon fuel from a car into a gas can when he was caught in the act by the child, the news site reports, citing Tarpon Springs Police. A fight broke out, and the child was taken to Florida Hospital North Pinellas.
According to the report, the child "told police that Ludlow runs a small auto repair shop and uses gas from customer's cars to purchase crack cocaine." Ludlow denies the allegations.

Officers also found two crack pipes in Ludlow's Sunrise Drive home, Bay News 9 reports.
Ludlow was booked in the Pinellas County Jail and faces charges of child abuse, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $12,150 bond.
