Registration Open for Free Sexual Abuse Awareness Seminar
The three-part seminar in Tarpon Springs will focus on awareness and education.

The seminar "Darkness to Light: Sexual Abuse Awareness and Education" will start on Oct. 9 and continue each Tuesday until Oct. 23 in Tarpon Springs.
Participants will receive a workbook for the seminar and a certificate of completion on the final night. The seminar will focus on educating and furthering awareness about sexual abuse of children.Â
Parents and community leaders are urged to attend, as well as child advocates and interested adults.Â

The schedule is as follows:
- Part 1: Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 6-7:15 p.m. at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church (812 East Tarpon Ave.)
- Part 2: Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6-7:15 p.m. at CAP Neighborhood Family Center (401 East Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.)
- Part 3: Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 6-7:15pm at First United Methodist Church (501 East Tarpon Ave.)
Onsite childcare will be offered to participants, and there is no charge for the seminar.
