Tarpon High Marching Band Stomps Competition

After enduring the showdown, the marching band came out on top.

Tarpon Springs High School took the number one spot at Seminole Sound, the first competition of the season last weekend.

The event took place at Seminole High School and although the winds were gusty, the Tarpon Springs High marching band persevered and it sure paid off as they marched straight to the top out of 19 schools.

Just behind Tarpon came F.W. Springstead in second and Northside Christian in third. The results in the top three were as follows:

The next competition for the marching band will take place this Saturday at East Lake High School in the East Lake Classic.
