PALM BEACH, FL — Television handyman Bob Vila has put his Palm Beach home on the market for $52.9 million.

The 6,298-square-foot home, boasting seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, was designed by architect Marion Sims Wyeth. It also comes with its original cypress paneling, as well as 175 feet of direct waterfront access, a dock, a pool and a hot tub.

Vila and his wife, Diana Barrett, moved into the home in 2005. While they hired a contractor and landscaper for a major overhaul of the house at the time, he’s since made small repairs and updates to the home, according to Mansion Global.

“In terms of doing little home improvements around here, that’s always part of the deal,” he said. “It’s an older house, so there’s always something.”

Now, the couple is downsizing, reports said.

“You get to a point in life where you want to simplify things,” Vila said.

The listing is represented by the couple’s real estate agent son, Chris Vila, who works with PB Realty Advisors, according to Fox Business.
