Bomb Threat At Marjorie Taylor Greene's GA Home Leads To Fatal Crash
An officer responding to a bomb threat at Marjorie Taylor Greene's GA home was involved in a crash that killed a woman, the lawmaker says.

ROME, GA — U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she has been the target of yet another bomb threat, which led to a deadly crash involving a Rome police officer responding to her home and another driver.
Rome Police said on social media Monday the officer was in his personal car and was on his way to join the bomb squad on a call. While en route, the officer was involved in a crash at Redmond Road, the department said.
The Georgia State Patrol said the crash happened when a 2002 Mazda Protégé headed west from a private lot crossed into the path of a 2015 GMC Sierra being driven by the officer, who was going north on Redmond Circle.

"These violent political threats have fatal consequences. It’s an undue strain on our law enforcement, who must treat them seriously. The officer was responding to protect my life. And now, a woman has lost her life because of this despicable act," Greene said in X and Facebook posts.
"The perpetrator of this crime has committed murder in our small community of Rome, Georgia. The police shouldn’t have to respond to these threats, and there should not be deaths caused at their hands. I’m so thankful for everything the Rome Police Department does to protect our city and for putting their lives on the line to do it. I’m sick to my stomach, but I’m also angry. This should have never happened, and I pray it never happens again."

She shared the contents of what she said was an emailed threat, which she said came from a Russian IP address and was received by Rome Police's assistant police chief.
According to the text shared by Greene, the author claimed to have constructed a pipe bomb and hid it in Greene's mailbox.
"It is set to go off during the weekend, but it would also explode the next time anybody opens the mailbox. Even if Marjorie does not open the mailbox herself, I am still satisfied with the prospect of some ... cops losing their lives or being injured. VIVA VIVA PALESTINA," read the text labeled "For Palestine."
Greene said her office is cooperating with authorities on the matter.
