Cornerstone Prep Junior awarded scholarship trip to Washington DC
Cobb Youth Leadership Program recognizes top students in Cobb County
Congratulations to Cornerstone Prep rising senior, Ben Ostell, for recently being selected to represent the Cobb Youth Leadership Program in Washington DC. Ben was awarded one of four scholarship trips to travel to the nation's capital for the Washington Youth Tour 2025.
One student from every school in Cobb County may apply and be selected for the Cobb Youth Leadership Program. Ben had the highest test score and was chosen to represent Cornerstone Prep. He spent his junior year working closely with Cobb EMC leaders, learning their leadership concepts and business operations, as well as community service and networking events.
From the group of students in the Cobb County Youth Leadership Program, four students are awarded the prestigious scholarship and opportunity to travel to Washington DC. Ben is an active athlete at Cornerstone running Cross Country and playing Varsity Basketball. He also holds a part-time job and is an active member of Four Points Church.
