• Pedestrian critically injured after van strikes two in Acworth crosswalk (fox5atlanta.com) — A right-turning van hit two people in a marked Acworth crosswalk at Main Street and New McEver Road Saturday afternoon, critically injuring one pedestrian. Both victims were thrown into the eastbound lane of New McEver Road, and police are still investigating whether charges are warranted and what caused the collision.
