Alpharetta Debaters Win National Fellowship
These two rising seniors are now being offered scholarships to the University of Michigan's summer debate program.
ALPHARETTA, GA — Two Alpharetta High School rising seniors won prestigious fellowships for their top-notch debating skills.
Suchetas Bokil and Shivan Moodley were named 2019 University of Michigan J.W. Patterson Foundation for Academic Excellence in Speech and Debate Fellows.
The fellowship program only accepts 12 rising seniors nationally.
