Alpharetta-Milton Primary Election 2022: Unofficial Results In
Unofficial results are in after Alpharetta and Milton voters cast their ballots in county and state races. Check Patch for the results.

ALPHARETTA-MILTON, GA — Election Day is over in Alpharetta and Milton, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2022 primary election. Patch will update this story as results are finalized on Wednesday.

This year, Fulton County voters decided on county commission chairperson, county commissioners in districts 1, 3, and 5; school board members in districts 2, 5, 6, and 7; state court judge; chief magistrate judge; state Senate districts 14, 21, 48, and 56; state House districts 47, 48, 49, and 50; U.S. Senate; and U.S. House of Representatives districts 6 and 7.

As of 1:21 a.m. on Wednesday, unofficial results for Fulton County show 89 percent of precincts completely reported, and 5 percent partially reported.
Commission Chairman incumbent Democrat Robb Pitts will likely face Republican Bridget Thorne.

Democrat Maggie Goldman took the lead for County Commission District 1.
Incumbent Democrat Marvin Arrington Jr. has a wide lead for his seat as County Commission District 5.
For Fulton School Board, Lillie Pozatek narrowly has the lead for District 2. Kristin McCabe also has the lead for District 5. Incumbent Kimberly Dove has the lead for District 6, and Michelle Morancie has the lead for District 7.

The ballot also included statewide elections, such as governor, secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, state school superintendent and labor commissioner.
