ALPHARETTA-MILTON, GA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks! Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours. This submission comes from Tabatha James who nominated Sandra Jackson of Alpharetta-Milton.
What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is truly one of a kind. She is a talented artist and a phenomenal wife, mother, and grandmother. She goes out of the way to lend a hand to help others, and she is a Godly woman and an amazing prayer warrior. She suffered a stroke a few years ago, but she fought back. Today you would not know she ever had one. She is an example of faith, tenacity, hope, and resilience.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She does so much to help others, and it's time the spotlight is shining her way!
