  1. A federal appeals court temporarily paused a district court's order for Republican Senator Lindsey Graham to appear before a grand jury for allegedly trying to illegally influence the 2020 election results in Georgia. According to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Graham hinted that he should get rid of some Georgia ballots during a statewide audit, though Graham's attorneys argued that those actions were related to legislative activity and should be protected under the Constitution. Last week, U.S. District Judge Leigh Martin May ruled that Graham had to testify before the Fulton County grand jury about former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.
