- Milton's Independence Day "Walking Parade" and Celebration will be on July 2. Everyone is invited to attend the celebration that will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Broadwell Pavilion. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a City of Milton fire trucking leading everyone to Marstow. Everyone is encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. (City of Milton)

- An Alpharetta resident turns a tragic tree loss into lumber for his new shed. An Alpharetta resident named Daniel had a number of oak trees die on his property from an unexpected tree disease. He hired Tree Service Alpharetta to cut down the trees for less than $10,000. The landscaping team offered to cut the tree into timber for Daniel. This is a good reminder to contact a professional before removing any trees. (Digital Journal)
- Today is the last day to register for Alpharetta's Rain Barrel Workshop. The workshop will be on Saturday, Jun. 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Rock Mill Park Pavilion on Kimball Bridge Rd.
