North Point Mall Redevelopment Meeting On Jan. 9
The community information meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Alpharetta City Hall.

ALPHARETTA, GA — A community information meeting will be held Wednesday on plans to redevelop the North Point Mall area.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 at Alpharetta City Hall. A proposal is on the table to rezone roughly 14 acres from planned shopping center to mixed use, which would allow for the redevelopment of Sears into 328 for-rent units and 24,000 square feet of retail space.
It's also requesting a conditional use permit allowing for-rent uses and variances related to use requirements and eliminating a neighborhood grocery store.
