Rock Band Foreigner To Launch Farewell Tour In Alpharetta
Foreigner is planning 32 dates for its Historic Farewell Tour in 2023, with international shows planned in 2024.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Rock veteran band Foreigner will say goodbye to the stage during the Historic Farewell Tour, set to kick off July 6, 2023, at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.
According to Billboard, 32 dates are planned through Sept. 3, 2023. The final show of the year will be held in Holmdel, New Jersey, with international dates added in 2024, the outlet reported.
Tickets go on sale Friday via Live Nation. Billboard reported the band is searching for local choirs at each stop to perform "I Want to Know What Love Is" with the musicians. Entry details are available via Foreigner Choirs.

According to Foreigner's website, Mick Jones is a driving force behind the group's success. Billboard reported Jones is the last original active member of the band.
Other members are Kelly Hansen, Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein, Chris Frazier, Bruce Watson and Luis Maldanado.

Together, the artists have 16 Top 30 hits and nine Top 10 hits, and have sold more than 80 million albums, according to its website.
Jones was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2013, according to the website.
