Sen. Beach Named To Most Influential Georgians List

ALPHARETTA, GA — State Senator Brandon Beach and Kerry Armstrong, chairman of the North Fulton Community Improvement District, were recently named to Georgia Trend magazine's list of 100 Most Influential Georgians.

The list touts Peach State residents who are "not only successful in their careers, but also wield remarkable power and influence and have contributed to making life better for Georgians," the magazine states.

“I am honored to be counted among some of our state’s most dedicated leaders that made up Georgia Trend’s 2019 list of most influential Georgians,” said Sen. Beach. “The individuals who make up this list are a testament to the great work being accomplished throughout our state and a clear sign that we are poised to continue in the direction of prosperity. I look forward to working with many of the other individuals on this list during the upcoming legislative session as we continue to push our state to reach its full potential.”

Beach, an Alpharetta resident who is employed as the executive director of the North Fulton CID, was recognized for his leadership as chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee and his work advocating for House Bill 930, which created the Atlanta-region Transit Link (ATL) Authority. Armstrong was mentioned for his role as chairman of the Atlanta Regional Commission.
