'Tour For Life' Pet Adoption Event Hosted By Furkids

ALPHARETTA, GA — Furkids Animal Rescue has partnered with North Shore Animal League America for "Tour For Life," a national pet adoption event going through Sunday.

Tour For Life 2022 is a national pet adoption event, in partnership with Rachael Ray Nutrish, running through Sunday, March 20 and featuring adoption specials.

As part of the event, Furkids Animal Rescue & Shelters is offering:

• Cats 6 months and older are adopt one, get a buddy for free
• $0 for senior cats (10 years and older), FeLV+ and FIV+ cats
• Individuals over 62 years of age will receive half-off adoption fees
• Members of the military, those in the medical field, education and first responders will receive half-off adoption fees
• No adoption fee for senior cats (10 years and older), FeLV and FIV+ cats
• $75 adoption fee for senior dogs (8 years and older)

Furkids is conducting adoptions by appointment only. Interested adopters are asked to visit the website to see the dogs available. Prospective adopters are asked to fill out an adoption survey online, and an adoption counselor will contact them personally to schedule an appointment.

Tour For Life 2022 will run throughout March and April with weeklong events in 53 cities/towns across 37 states, spotlighting local shelter partners and rescue groups dedicated to finding homes for the animals in their care.
