Walls Damaged, Plumbing and HVAC Stolen from Vacant House on Massey Lane

The information in this story comes from the Athens-Clarke County Police.

Over $3,000 worth of damage was done to a vacant house on Massey Lane last fall, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.

The house, owned by a bank, was burglarized sometime between October 31 and November 21, but the incident wasn't reported to police until Feb. 12.

Walls were damaged and plumbing and the HVAC were stolen.

In other news, police were called to investigate a burglary on Sayemore Drive that occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on Feb. 11 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 12.

A video game system, video games, cell phone, and food items were stolen. According to a police report, the total value was $1,080.
