5 Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Detected At ATL Hotel: Report
Three adults and two children had to be taken to the hospital after carbon monoxide was detected at a Peachtree Street hotel, a report says.

ATLANTA, GA — Five people were hospitalized Friday after carbon monoxide was detected at a downtown Atlanta hotel, according to an Atlanta News First report.
Atlanta Fire Rescue tweeted that crews were on the scene in the 130 block of Peachtree Street Northwest. Fire officials said the scene was stable, but the gas line was disconnected.

Three adults and two children had to be taken to the hospital for observation, fire officials told Atlanta News First.

“Our hazmat team is assisting residents experiencing side effects and working with hotel maintenance to locate the source,” Atlanta Fire Rescue said in a statement obtained by the news outlet.
