Aldredge Health Center Closes April 21, Moves To New Location

The 56-year- old Aldredge Health Center is the oldest of the County's eight health centers and will reopen May 8 in its new location.

From Fulton County Health: Fulton County’s flagship health center, located at 99 Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive, Atlanta 30303, is closing this Friday April 21, 2017 at 5:30pm. The 56-year- old Aldredge Health Center is the oldest of the County’s eight health centers and had been slated for renovation under earlier plans. However, County leaders worked with Grady Health Systems, which purchased the facility, and has renovated a new space for Aldredge services at 10 Park Place South, S.E., Atlanta, 30303. The new name of the new home of Fulton County Health and Wellness is Fulton County Public Health at 10 Park Place. It opens for business on May 8, 2017.

In keeping with the County’s Strategic Priority Area that “All People Are Healthy,” the move into Fulton County Public Health at 10 Park Place will provide clients with a more comfortable experience, featuring the latest in health technology. Some services will be relocated to other health centers. The Office of Vital Records, formerly at Aldredge, has already been relocated and is now open in the 141 Pryor Street Government Center building on the first floor. A complete directory of service locations will be made available as the moves take place. Clients are being notified of the changes in person and by media as well as informed of where they can receive services during the two weeks needed for the move to Fulton County Public Health at 10 Park Place.
