Atlanta Falcons Playoff Schedule: When & Where
The Dirty Birds have a real opportunity to bring an NFL championship to the city.
ATLANTA, GA -- The second season of the 2016-2017 campaign has officially begun for the Atlanta Falcons, who march into the NFL playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the National Football Conference.
The Atlanta Falcons notched their 11th win of the season with a convincing six-point (don’t let the score fool you) victory over the New Orleans Saints Sunday night. In doing so, they put the rest of the league on notice: These aren't your ordinary Dirty Birds.
Quarterback Matt Ryan enjoyed the best season of his nine-year career, reaching career marks for yards (4,994) and touchdowns (38). The Falcons have the league’s most potent offense, anchored by Ryan and All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones.
