Delta, Coke Apologize For 'Creepy' Napkins
The napkins were part of a Diet Coke ad campaign that seemingly encouraged flirting among passengers.
ATLANTA -- Two of Atlanta's biggest international corporations -- Delta Air Lines and The Coca-Cola Co. -- are apologizing for what are being described as "creepy" napkins that suggested passengers give their name and number to their "plane crush." The napkins with the suggestive message were part of a Diet Coke advertising campaign, and immediately generated a lot of social media backlash.
Now, both companies have issued apologies, according to CNN, and the ad campaign is being pulled.
"We sincerely apologize to anyone we may have offended," Coke said Thursday. "We worked with our partners at Delta to begin removing the napkins last month and are replacing them with other designs."

"We rotate Coke products regularly on our aircraft as part of our brand partnership, but missed the mark with this one," Delta said. "We are sorry for that."
