Grant Park Summer Shade Festival Hosting Commemorative Poster Design Contest
Submissions will be taken until midnight on Friday, July 29.

Calling all poster design enthusiasts! For the first time ever, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is hosting a commemorative poster design contest in conjunction with the 2016 event. Taking submissions before midnight on Friday, July 29, designers are invited to create brand-inspired commemorative poster that embodies the Grant Park community and spirit of the two-day annual music and arts festival. The winner will receive a grand prize of $150, a professionally printed version of the poster and two weekend VIP passes to the festival. An annual tradition for more than a decade, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival will welcome music and art lovers to Atlanta’s oldest park for two days of nonstop fun on Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28. Presented by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend on two stages in addition to an expansive artist market that will double in size for this year’s event. Open to all ages and free to attend, the 14th annual Summer Shade Festival will also have a diverse selection of local food trucks with offerings for all tastes, craft beer, a Kids Zone, a 5K run, a farmers market and much more.
