Kevin Spacey To Produce 'Unabomber' Series in Atlanta
Scripted series will start filming in metro Atlanta in January.

ATLANTA, GA -- Actor Kevin Spacey will executive produce a scripted TV series in Atlanta about the "Unabomber," according to Backstage.com.
The drama will be called "Manifesto," which is what domestic terrorist Ted Kaczynski labeled his eight-page, 35,000-word rant he demanded several national newspapers to publish. If the media outlets relented, he threatened to mail bombs "with intent to kill."
Kaczynski was arrested in 1996 and pleaded guilty two years later to a mail bomb campaign that spanned nearly 20 years, killing three people and wounding 23 others.

The TV series, which will be shot in and around Atlanta, will be about a federal law enforcement official who helped catch Kaczynski. The synapsis calls it "an in-depth look at how an FBI profiler helped track down the Unabomber."
The series is set to start filming in January and will star Paul Bettany and Keisha Castle-Hughes, according to Backstage.com.
