Nonprofit Giving Away Shoes Saturday To Women 50 And Older

Love for Your Sole will honor the hardworking mothers, grandmothers, aunties and caregivers who give tirelessly of themselves.

ATLANTA -- Caring For Others Inc., a local human services nonprofit, has launched Love for Your Sole, a new distribution event that will give a pair of new, comfortable shoes to women age 50 and up. A division of the organization’s annual No Bare Soles shoe distribution for children, Love for Your Sole honors the hardworking mothers, grandmothers, aunties and caregivers who give tirelessly of themselves.

“We believe everything must be built from a strong foundation,” said Caring For Others President & CEO Eslene Richmond-Shockley. “What better way to help make that true than with a new pair of shoes?”

This event is first come, first served. Participants do not need to pre-register, but they should bring a photo ID to the event.
