Skateboarders Invited To Compete Saturday In Red Bull Mind The Gap Atlanta
Skateboarders from across the Southeast are invited to compete in the Red Bull Mind The Gap Atlanta contest on Saturday.

ATLANTA, GA — The Red Bull Mind The Gap skateboarding competition returns to Atlanta this Saturday to showcase skateboarders from far and wide.
The flat gap skateboarding competition is open to pros and amateurs alike and free to would-be participants, organizers say.
But this event won’t just feature all the best skaters in the Metro Atlanta area. Winners from previous 2021 Red Bull Mind The Gap winners from cities across the Southeast, including Keanu Brown (Tampa, Fla.), Kenny Day (Orlando, Fla.), Jeremy Turner (Charlotte, NC), and 2019 Atlanta winner Anthony Ferguson.

How does it work? Simple. Bring your best tricks to 27 Poplar Street in Downtown Atlanta across from Woodruff Park on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7, for bragging rights.
The competition will be divided into a jam format with three judges, including pro skater Justin Brock, scoring the best tricks over the gap.

Oh, and there are cash prizes of up to $2,000.

- 7pm: Jam 4
