Woman Accused Of Pulling Gun On ATL Caterer Who Fired Her: Report
The chef-owner of a catering company told a local news outlet that an ex-employee tried to kill him after he fired her for missing an event.
ATLANTA, GA — A woman was arrested after being accused of showing up to her former place of employment with a gun and stealing a cell phone belonging to the catering company's owner, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Owner Chef Tim Morgan accused Harrita Benton of intending to kill him at his Atlanta catering business after he fired her for not arriving at a work event, the news outlet reported.
When a staff member intervened, Morgan accused Benton of stealing his cell phone before leaving the scene, Fox 5 reported.

Fulton County Jail records on Monday showed Benton was arrested Saturday and charged on suspicion of simple assault and misdemeanor theft by taking. She was booked and released on a pretrial release surety bond, jail records showed.
