- Authorities are seeking information about a man who was caught on camera stealing an ambulance in Richmond County on Feb. 25. The ambulance was later found at a different location, and investigators hope the public can help identify the suspect. The incident report suggests that the ambulance was driven for at least five miles before it was recovered. (WRDW)
- The Richmond County Board of Education will hold several meetings this month, including a Public Rightsizing Hearing on Mar. 8 at Willis Foreman Elementary School and a Joint Meeting with the Augusta County Commission on Mar. 15 at the Richmond County Public Library Auditorium. The other meetings, including a Committee Meeting, a Public Rightsizing Hearing, a Regular Board Meeting, and a Spring Board Retreat, will be held at the Board Room Auditorium on Broad Street. - Two inmates died within hours of each other in separate jails, with one inmate committing suicide and the other dying from natural causes. The first inmate, Patrick Logan, collapsed in a cell at the Charles Webster Detention Center in Augusta, while the second inmate, Erik Adam Bodie, was found dead in his cell at the Columbia County Jail in nearby Appling. Bodie's death is being investigated as an apparent suicide and an autopsy has been scheduled. (WRDW)

- As of Monday evening, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Leigh Anne Sweat, who was last seen on Feb. 28 at Serenity on Mike Padgett Highway. It is unclear what she was wearing at the time, and she is known to visit Olive Road, Old Savannah Road, and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. (WJBF-TV)

- Two separate accidents on I-20 in nearby Grovetown caused delays in both directions, but have since been cleared up. One accident caused a lane to be blocked on I-20 westbound at mile marker 189 due to an overturned vehicle and minor injuries were reported. The second accident was on the eastbound side of I-20 at mile marker 181, causing two and a half miles of backed-up traffic. (WRDW)
