  1. Another truck hit the Olive Road bridge around noon on Friday. The U-Haul box truck was photographed wedged under the bridge, and this truck isn't the first time that the low bridge has been hit and caused trouble for trucks of that size. Augusta's assistant director of traffic engineering John Ussery said the city has done everything it can under state law to warn drivers and prevent issues like this, and the option of raising the bridge would cost millions of dollars and be up to the railroad. (WRDW)
  2. Augusta University announced that it plans to host the 2023 Solutions For Nonprofits, the university's annual innovation competition, on Mar. 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fourth annual competition is open to the public and challenges student teams to pitch a solution to a problem for non-profits. (WRDW)
  3. The Richmond County School Board held a town hall on Thursday to get input on its proposal to close two schools: Terrace Manor Elementary and Willis Foreman Elementary. The board is proposing to close the schools and merge them into other schools due to low capacity. (WJBF-TV)
