Hoschton Resident Named to Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra

A local resident recently earned membership in the Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra.

Shannon Wood, of Hoschton, is currently pursuing a master's degree in music performance.

"I see the orchestra as a unique and important part of fulfilling the University's mission of developing Christ-like individuals for the furtherance of God's kingdom" said orchestra Director Dr. Michael W. Moore. "The orchestral program at BJU provides student musicians high-level career and ministry preparation while contributing to the cultural life of the student body and the greater Greenville community."
