Incoming GA House Rep. Accused Of Stealing Medications, Faces Charges
Newly elected Danny Rampey is accused of stealing medications from an assisted living home, a report says.
WINDER, GA — A newly Georgia House representative was in jail after being accused of stealing medications from an assisted living home in Winder, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Danny Rampey, a Republican who ran unopposed in District 119 during November's general election, is charged on suspicion of unauthorized distribution or possession of a controlled substance, burglary and exploitation and intimidation of disabled adults, elderly persons and residents, according to the Fox 5 report.
Barrow County authorities told the outlet Rampey manages the home and was arrested Thursday, Fox 5 reported.
