Obscene Images Drawn on Car, Driver Identifies Alleged Vandal

Incident happened while driver was at a friend's house watching the UGA game.

A Bethlehem man is facing the inconvenience and expense of having to repair his vehicle after obscene images were drawn on the car on Sept. 28.

According to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office incident report, the man's son drove the car to a friend's house in Mill Creek subdivision in Bethlehem to watch the UGA game on Sept. 28. During the game, the car was vandalized.

"One set of penis and testicles combo was drawn on the trunk of the car and was able to be washed clean," the deputy noted in the report. "The other set of penis and testicles combo was drawn on the hood of the vehicle and is unable to be removed."

The images were drawn using either shoe polish or a chalk marker product, the report stated.

The Bethlehem man's son said he saw the 16-year-old  individual who vandalized the vehicle and was able to identify him. The Bethlehem man said he intended to speak to the teen's parents and see if they are willing to pay to repair the damage their child caused. If not, the car owner said he intended to pursue the matter in court.
