• Winder Legacy Park to go from board of education to city ownership (accesswdun.com) — Winder Legacy Park is officially shifting from Barrow County Board of Education control to City of Winder ownership after a council vote, with $250,000 in school system support for maintenance. Local leaders say the move will help the park reach its full potential, with future plans like a splash pad, dog park, sports courts, and more community amenities.
