2 Carjackers Shoot At Woman In Buckhead: Atlanta Police

According to Atlanta police, the carjackers shot at the woman after she refused to give up her car.

BUCKHEAD, GA β€” Atlanta police are looking for two people accused of shooting at a woman after she refused to give up her car.

According to police, just before 8:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 3060 Peachtree Road NW in reference to a carjacking.

Once on scene, police said they spoke to a woman who said that while driving her white Nissan Sentra, she was stopped at the traffic light at West Paces Ferry Road when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up behind her.

Officers said she told them that two Black men exited the vehicle, approached her and attempted to open the passenger door.

The woman drove away from the scene but as she did so, the men opened fire. Uninjured, police said the woman got out of her vehicle and fled the scene on foot to safety.

Police said the two men then jumped into her vehicle and fled the scene.

The case currently remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call the Atlanta Police Department.
