• Body camera video shows Chamblee officers revive man after workplace heart attack (fox5atlanta.com) — Chamblee police officers used CPR and an AED to bring a man back to life after he collapsed from cardiac arrest while working at a local Jiffy Lube. Newly released body camera footage shows four officers rotating chest compressions for over 10 minutes, guided by 911 dispatchers. Officials say AEDs now carried in every Chamblee patrol car were crucial to his survival and recovery. 
• Interns document UNG art collection (ung.edu) — A University of North Georgia intern recently spent her summer at The Oddities Museum in Chamblee cataloging its vast private collection and helping visitors connect objects to bigger historical themes. Alongside another intern documenting UNG’s art collection, she’s building skills in research, photography, and preservation that could eventually benefit museums and galleries across the region, including those near Chamblee.
