2 Men Sought In Possible Home Break-in On Lenox Road In Buckhead

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's assistance in finding the men involved in a possible break-in of a home in Buckhead.

Police believe the two men, shown on security camera, were trying to break into a home on Lenox Road in Buckhead.

Two burglars also broke into a residence on 6th Street in Midtown Atlanta. Police believe the incidents are related.

Law enforcement officials said that thieves are bold: In the Midtown incident, the homeowners were home during the burglary.

The perpetrators still got away with some items, according to police.

Police said the possible break-in attempt on Lenox Road happened the same day as the crime on 6th Street.

The Buckhead area has been hit with a spate of crime lately, with some media outlets reporting figures as high as 130 break-ins and attempted break-ins since December.
